Bijan Bastani, MD

Dr. Bijan Bastani, is a Board Certified psychiatrist with extensive experience in clinical research. After completing psychiatric residency and two years of fellowship in psychopharmacology at University Hospitals of Cleveland, Case Western Reserve University he joined the psychiatry department . Since then he has had additional training in sleep medicine. Dr Bastani is an experienced researcher with strong clinical interest. He has established Northeast Clinical Trials in 1995 and prior to that he developed and administered outpatient programs with academic and research components in the University Hospitals, Veteran Administration Medical Center and Community Mental Health Centers. He has over 18 years of clinical trials experience as a principal investigator as well as initiating studies that covered wide range of psychiatric and sleep disorders.
